In line with the national dedication of prayer for persecuted Christians, Aid to the Church In Need Philippines (ACN Philippines) celebrated the main Red Wednesday Mass at the Manila Cathedral on November 27.
The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Bishop of Kalookan Most Rev. Pablo Virgilio S. David, together with concelebrating bishops and priests. Leaders and representatives from various Christian denominations and groups also participated and attended the Ecumenical Prayer before the facade of the Cathedral was lighted in red.
More than 2,000 parishes and institutions participated simultaneously in the Philippines.
