Prayer for Peace at the St. Anthony of Padova Franciscan convent in Harissa on 17.10.2023
All geographically nearby seminaries, representing various churches and congregations, assembled yesterday October 17, 2023, at the St. Anthony of Padova Franciscan convent in Harissa, facing the Harissa shrine, to pray for peace. The theme of the prayer was ‘Who Saves the Human Being.’
The gathering featured readings, intentions, adoration, silence time, procession, and spiritual songs from several churches, including Maronite, Melkite, Latin, Syriac, Armenian, and also from Taizé. It was a deeply meaningful and heartwarming prayer session, providing an opportunity for all present to release their fears, anger, anxiety, and other emotions into the hands of the Lord.
