Funeral in Damascus of 5 martyrs kidnapped from Maaloula in September 2013.
The five martyrs were kidnapped in September 2013 by extremist group from Maaloula. Contact was lost with them about a year ago. Three months ago, the General Security in Lebanon found 5 bodies in Irsal region. After verification, the bodies turned out to be the 5 missing people from Maaloula. The General Security cooperated and handed the bodies to Syrian authority on 25 April 2017. The funeral tool place in Damascus and they were buried in Maaloula on the same day.
